Curve appeal!

What are the chances in a marina with over 800 pens that you're going to come across a fortuitous pairing twice.. remember the pirate ship moored two down from 'The Bourbon'! Last week I spotted this gorgeous ship shapely 'cougar', check out that curvy derriere, sidling up to her sleek pen mate in 'Anticipation' that he might  'Leeder Astray' :) Oh la! so much sport this weekend, Le Tour de France begins as Wimbledon and the World Cup are winding down.. what are you watching? Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe..

  1. Such beautiful shots - I love the teal mood. Just lovely!
Since you asked - I am watching the World Cup. This is the only football event I watch, and I enjoy it!

  2. I love those names!

I'm not watching any of the sports events. Instead, I have a cheesy sci-fi movie on streaming. It's about an asteroid headed for Earth. I guess Bruce Willis wasn't available, because these idiots are trying to move the Earth out of the asteroid's path....

  3. Very clever names for those ships and even more clever of you to find them for us. No sports this weekend for me. I think I'm off to a movie instead.

  4. Watched some of the Tour, then the ladies tennis, the end of the stage in the Tour, and now have the World Cup game on. A busy day, Grace, - exhausting!

  5. Very beautiful marina. I really like the sleed Anticipation. As far as watching sports; I don't. I don't even go to live events any longer since most are sold to broadcasters who sell so many commercials that there are too many time outs to make anything interesting. National and world events that are televised are the worst.

  7. Curve appeal . . . curvy derriere . . . anticipation and leeder astray . . . why, Grace, I could "barely" finish reading, my glasses were so fogged up!

  8. Watched France go down to Germany last night during the 4th of July celebration... talk about grinding the cultural gears. Today I watched the first stage of the Tour de France... in England! It was an exciting but sad finish. Ah well, only 20 more stages left !

  9. Jack cracks me up. No more said about that.

Now, has no one noticed that Cody, Wyoming? How on earth does a Wyoming ship get there? (Quite apart from the fact that Wyoming is in the middle of nowhere, near the Rockies, no sea!!!)

The only thing I'm even remotely interested in is Wimbledon!

  11. Something as innocent as boat names, and you manage to extract something from them. Tour de France = pretty French countryside.

  12. Like Ciel, I couldn't help but notice the curved hull boat is from Cody, Wyoming. It must have cost a fortune to get it to the Pacific Coast. Anticipation may refer to the transport bill they're expecting.

Loving 'The Tour', mainly for the beautiful scenery. Happy Sunday, xoJoy

  14. "Leeder Astray" .... what a great name for a boat. You were brave Grace to venture that far out on the boardwalk
Viva Le Tour-de-France .... I'll be watching through the wee hours of the morning ... love it!

  16. Guess what, I watched the World Cup until deep in the night, those times doesn't fit with our daytimes. And I watched some Tour de France as well. Wimbledon I had to skip this year, I had to blog as well and trying to have a life!
